Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have previously tutored a P6 student in Math, helping them achieve a stronger understanding of mathematical concepts and a greater interest in mathematical topics in general. I am confident in my Mathematics, having taken both EMath, AMath in Sec Sch both A1, H2 Math and H2 FMath in JC both A+ and now studying Computer Science at NUS with a 4.8 GPA with straight As for all my Math courses. I have a strong understanding of answering techniques and ways to approach questions to help maximise their test scores and understanding of the material. Moreover, I have extensive experience in breaking down mathematical topics into bite sized digestible parts to enhance comprehension and retention. While other tutors might suggest rote memorisation, I teach my students to learn the reasoning behind all the formulas and its derivations, allowing students to better handle trick questions or more advanced questions during exams.
