Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am currently tutoring 3 other students for H2 Economics. 2 JC1 students, 1 from CJC and 1 from JPJC. And also a J2 student from RVHS. I am a part-time tutor who is currently studying economics in university which requires an intuitive understanding of economics. I am able to explain the concepts intuitively and help students understand what they are studying instead of pure memorising. I offer a structured approach to teaching. I will first assess the student's abilities especially by referring to past exams or assignments then construct a plan on what to cover for the next few lessons. Once I cover the necessary concepts with the students, I also can provide questions for the student to test themselves and/or go through the assignments given by the school. I also am able to provide practice questions from past-year prelim papers from various schools. I can select specific topical questions to highlight concepts and give the tutee experience attempting such questions. I also have a free AI Tool for my students to search through a compiled economics note for A Level JC syllabus.
