Tutor’s Teaching Background

Relevant Teaching Background:
While I do not have formal tuition centre or MOE school teaching experience, I have been actively involved in teaching and mentoring roles at university level and in voluntary settings:

• I am currently a medical student at University College London (ranked 6th globally for medicine, QS 2024), with firsthand experience applying to both UK and Singapore medical schools. This gives me strong insight into admissions preparation, personal statement coaching, and mock interview training.

• As Academic Officer of the UCL Dermatology Society, I organised and led teaching sessions for medical students, including mock exam preparation and topic-specific tutorials (e.g. skin health).

• I have also provided 1-on-1 beginner piano lessons as a volunteer tutor through the UCL Piano Society, tailoring sessions to individual learning needs and building strong rapport with students.

I am passionate about teaching and mentoring, and I bring an empathetic, student-centred approach to help learners achieve their academic goals.
