Tutor’s Teaching Background

I volunteered for NTU's Friends with Children, which provided free tutoring to both primary and secondary school students. Some subjects I taught were primary school English and Mathematics, as well as secondary school History and Social Studies. This allowed me to hone my teaching abilities through understanding different learning styles and adapting my approach to suit their academic needs. For Maths, I generally utilise past year papers or assessment books for my students. As for History, I use my own notes to help my students contextualise the syllabus, which I would use to hone their SBQ and SEQ skills.
