Tutor’s Teaching Background
Since 2022, I have been a dedicated private tutor, guiding more than 10 students across a range of levels—from Primary 1 to Secondary 4. My tutoring focuses mainly on Primary School Chinese and Mathematics, as well as Secondary School Mathematics (especially Additional Math).
I have consistently excelled in Chinese since my own primary school days, and I bring that strong foundation into my teaching. One of my Primary 5 students improved significantly under my guidance, jumping from AL5 to AL2 in Chinese. Another student, a Secondary 4 girl struggling with A-Math, progressed from a B3 to an A1 in her prelims, a result of targeted practice, strategic revision, and consistent support.
Being well-versed with the latest MOE syllabus and examination formats, I ensure that every lesson is aligned with current standards. I take a structured but adaptable approach, personalizing lessons to suit each student’s pace and learning style. My aim is not only to help students excel academically but also to build their confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
